Description

Acara Solutions is looking for an Assembler, Electronics/ Electro-Mech for our client located in Mountain View, CA

  • Performs a wide variety of electronic thin-film assembly operations requiring considerable judgment and initiative to build up and assemble complex thin-film assembly.
  • Follows production drawings, sample assemblies and verbal instructions with minimum supervision.
  • Interprets and works from electromechanical schematics, drawing, work instructions and bills of material to understand the needed parts and steps needed to complete the assigned assembly.
  • Reads worksheets and wiring diagrams, selects components.
  • Positions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture, or other holding device.
  • Adjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical or dimensional characteristics.
  • Performs eutectic attach and epoxy attach.
  • Performs wire bonding and ribbon bonding.
  • Will be trained on auto wedge-ball bonders, pick and place, reflow brazing system.
  • Perform other assembly tasks, such as evaluation parts, and engineering prototypes.
  • Performs inline inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Reworks and repairs defective units rejected by inspection or test personnel.
  • Follows safety procedures in the use and handling of flammable and hazardous chemicals needed to meet all cleanliness specifications.
  • Ensures that quality checks are completed throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Records information on production records, logs, and other report forms.
  • Window operating system and Microsoft Office
  • Follows policies and procedures; Supports organization's goals and values
  • Monitors own work to ensure quality
  • Follows instructions and responds to management direction
Observes safety and security procedures
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as Assembler, Electronics/ Electro-Mech
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of cleaning, component mounting, parts orientation.
  • Able to use hand and small tools, such as tweezers, microscope
  • Be able to follow specific procedures and detailed instructions completely.
  • Able to operate thin-film equipment's, such as die-attach station, wedge bonder, ball bonder, gap welder, bond pull tester
  • Flexible working time and willing to be trained in relating tasks.  
  • Vocational or Technical Certificate
  • Good Oral and Written Communication
  • Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
  • Works with integrity and ethics.
  • Completes work in a timely manner
  • Adapts to changes in the work environment.
  • Good attendance and punctuality
  • US person.
