Acara Solutions is looking for an Expeditor for our Client located in Melbourne, FL

  • Communicate and provide administrative support to Suppliers, Buyers, and Planners regarding order status, corrective action responses, RMA numbers, supplier survey responses, and supplier performance reports.
  • Update purchase order status in ERP system.
  • Maintain tracking reports and metric charts to provide status, measure performance, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Plan material purchases based on MRP requirements or internal requisition for MRO items.
  • Manage material discrepancies (quality, quantity, and price).
  • Meet purchased pricing requirements.
  • Resolve MRB in a timely manner.
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to various departments throughout organization.
  • Maintain organized filing system.
  • Order and track levels of office supplies.
  • Provide back-up support to the Front Desk.
  • Other responsibilities as directed and necessary for the business.
  • Will work with our Supply Chain team, internal/external customers, Mack corporate, Also, needs to be focused, reliable, and drama-free.

Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is $16.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Expeditor

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Purchasing including data entry in an ERP system
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette.
  • Able to always maintain a positive and professional demeanour.
  • Intermediate business tools/ applications knowledge (Email, Excel, MS Word.)
  • Good problem solving and workstation skills.
  • Self-motived, ability to work independently and quickly with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to operate in a multi-tasking, highly dynamic work environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as necessary.
  • Candidate(s) need good computer skills (particularly Excel), good phone skills (customer focused), and the ability/willingness to learn.
