Pre-Employment Requirement note:

Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Security Clearance. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position needs an active U.S. Security Clearance for employment. Non-U.S. citizens may not be eligible to obtain a security clearance.  The Department of Defense Consolidated Adjudications Facility (DoD CAF), a federal government agency, handles the adjudicative aspects of the security clearance eligibility process for industry applicants. Adjudicative factors which affect the outcome of the eligibility determination include, but are not limited to, allegiance to the U.S., foreign influence, foreign preference, criminal conduct, security violations and illegal drug use.

Work Skills & Education Required: 

• BS degree in IT field and 2 years of cloud engineering experience, or in lieu of degree, Higher Education maybe substituted for relevant cloud engineering experience 
• 5 years' experience implementing and supporting AWS and Azure Cloud Operations
• 5 years' experience implementing and supporting VMware; VRealize, VRealize Operations, VRealize Automation
• 5 years' experience  with IT Operations Monitoring Tools; PRTG, VROperations, SolarWinds
• 5 years' experience designing and implementing cloud solutions using IAAS and PAAS
• 5 years Linux Systems Administration
• AWS Cloud Foundations and/or Azure Fundamentals 
• Ability to trouble shoot network connectivity and server infrastructures
• Experience configuring and maintaining Ansible Tower, PowerShell
• Ability to configure and manage Windows and Linux servers
   

Work Skills & Education Preferred: 

• Scripting Languages; Python, Teraform, etc
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes/ Containers running in Azure or AWS
• Knowledge of virtual firewalls, IPSEC VPN tunnels, and networks in AWS cloud environment preferred.
• Experience in migrating standalone infrastructure to AWS and Azure
• Experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework
• Proven ability to collaborative with multi-disciplinary teams of business analysts, developers, data scientists, and SMEs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and able to communicate with all levels of the organization
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• One of the following Certifications:          
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate
  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate
  • AWS Certified Developer - Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Implementing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions
  • Microsoft Certified: Architecting Microsoft Azure Subscription

Covid Safety Protocol Information:

In accordance with Executive Order 14042: Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors and required to comply with protocols. Aligns its COVID requirements, including mandatory vaccine requirements for employees, based on the status of applicable court orders and injunctions.
