Acara Solutions is looking for a Temporary Contract Recruiter to work On Site for our client located in Amherst NY
 
Pay: $24-$26/Hour 
Hours: M-F, 8-5pm
 
In this role you will...
  • Focus on recruiting for Management positions for a new retail store location.
     
  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process
  • Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria
  • Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization
  • Manages job posting and advertisement processes 
  • Screens applications and selects qualified candidates
  • Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials
  • Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders
  • Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details
  • Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Performs other duties as assigned
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required  
  • Experience in running a career or job fair.
  • Minimum of two years of full life cycle recruiting experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to take initiative and build productive relationships
  • Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment for a variety of roles
  • Self-motivated, time management, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Proven passive recruiting skills, cold calling, and success building pipelines and employment branding
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Team player with a high sense of urgency and ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment 
  • Must present a positive and professional image
  • Ability to build rapport with diverse motivated individuals and customers
