Acara Solutions is looking for QA/QC Technician for our client in the Semi-conducting business in Round Rock TX.  Please contact me today for immediate consideration.
$24 hr

  1. Under minimal supervision, perform electrical and/or mechanical inspection, of incoming or outgoing materials, determining conformance to applicable specifications as indicated by the designated procedures and product specifications.
  2. Interface with production/engineering personnel concerning inspection results. 
  3. Work with manufacturing to develop SOP's
  4. May perform audits in manufacturing areas and facilities according to established SOP's
  5. Maintain statistical quality control charts
    1. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
    2. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings of complex mechanical or electrical components.
    3. Ability to read testing instruments and record inspection results.
    4. Ability to use mechanical or electrical inspection tools, instruments, and devices.
    5. Ability to add, subtract, multiply in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages, and decimals. Prioritize work in accordance with lead/supervisor direction.
    6. Good problem solving skills
    7. Good verbal and written communication skills
    8. Good MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
    9. Familiar with Agile system
    Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Job Requirements

  1. 2-3+ years quality or related work experience 
  2. High School Diploma or equivalent 
  3. Some technical or college education
Familiarity with GMP and ISO methods
