Description

Acara Solutions is looking for a Manufacturing Technician for our client located in Hoffman Estates, IL

Perform a wide variety of routine manufacturing functions.
  • Operate manual manufacturing machine (Rolling press, SMG cutting press) to produce product.
  • Use hand tools (wrench, pliers, screwdrivers etc.) to assemble product.  
  • Ability to read and use measuring tools. (Micrometers, calipers)
  • Ability to read, interpret and follow prints, diagrams, written and oral work instructions and other written documentation relevant to production.
  • Good working knowledge of measure units' American standards and metric.
  • Assemble, test, and pack product using variety of hand tools, pneumatic drivers and computerized equipment.  
  • Perform in process checks to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Complete production on time.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area.
  • Self-starter able to work on their own with limited supervision and have good communication skills. 


Pay and Benefits:

  • The Salary for this position is $20.00 per hour (Max Pay rate).
 
Job Requirements

 
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • At least a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in Manual Machine Operation.

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Milling's experience
  • Self-starter be able to work on his own with limited supervision and have good communication skills.
  • Be computer literate, knowledgeable in word and e-mails for general communications.
  • Good working knowledge of measure units' American standards and metric.
  • Have good eye for detail
