Required Skills / Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years experience in heavy equipment operator
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- Certification for the use of some equipment be needed, such as forklift, transporter, Rail King, Con-O-Lift, and Straddle Carrier.
- Basic English skills - ability to read and understand written instructions and effectively communicate verbally.
- Knowledge of safety requirements with respect to heavy equipment operations and rigging.
Additional Information:
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
- Able to walk long distances on concrete in steel toe safety shoes.
- Frequently reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently needed to climb, such as, but not limited to stairs, steps, and ladders.
- Frequently needed to work on elevated platforms.
- Talk and hear.
- Lift and move no more than 40 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to focus.
