Acara Solutions is a premier provider of staffing solutions, for our client based in Fremont, CA. We are hiring Assemblers for one of our top clients! This dynamic company is a global leader in medical technology and the manufacturer of the world's most innovative devices.


Day shift: Mon - Fri (8 AM -5 PM)

Swing Shift: Mon - Fri (3 PM -11.30 PM)


Job Description

The assembler position is an integral part of the organization and is responsible for a variety of hand, mechanical, electrical, and wafer assembly. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of manufacturing experience, working in a clean room environment, and utilizing low and high-power microscopes. Wafer Fab and Soldering experience is a huge plus! This company offers a career path in a growing industry including both medical device and semiconductor manufacturing. The benefits also include the immediate potential for bonuses, sick pay accrual, and competitive compensation starting at $21 to $27 per hour (DOE).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Strong machine prep work experience, working in the warehouse doing shipments.
  • Performs the set-up, calibration, testing, and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Determines and may develop test specifications, methods, and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.
  • Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems.
  • May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing.
  • Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.
  • May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.
  • Should be able to lift up to 30lbs


Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:
1 year of Soldering
1 year Electro/Mechanical Assembly experience

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

Semi-conductor experience
